This Privacy Policy explains how Market Scanner Corp. (“Market Scanner,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit oftu.com (the “Site”), request early access to Oftu, our property simulation software, or otherwise communicate with us.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request early access or contact us, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, company, role and the content of any message you send.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the referring website, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect it through server logs, cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as government identifiers or financial account numbers. Please do not send it to us.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• review and respond to your early access request and run the early access program;
• communicate with you about Oftu, including invitations, product updates and occasional news, which you can opt out of at any time;
• operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, including understanding how visitors use it and preventing fraud and abuse; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that the Site needs in order to work and, where applicable, to understand how the Site is used. Some of them may be provided by analytics providers acting on our behalf. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, although parts of the Site may then not work as intended.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only as described below:

• Service providers. Companies that host the Site, deliver email, provide analytics or otherwise help us run our business, which may use it only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Market Scanner, our users or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With your consent. When you ask us to share it or agree that we may.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, such as while the early access program is running and for a reasonable period afterward, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. We may still send you messages about your early access request.

Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing team@oftu.com.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act gives California residents the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct and delete it; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name and email address), professional information (such as company and role) and internet activity information (such as pages viewed), from you and from your device, for the purposes described in section 2, and disclosed them to the service providers described in section 4. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information. To make a request, email team@oftu.com. We will verify your request by matching information we already hold, and you may use an authorized agent.

Other locations. Depending on where you live, local law may give you similar rights. Contact us and we will respond as the law requires.

8. Children

The Site and Oftu are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States and process and store information there. If you use the Site from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are material we will give additional notice, such as by email or on the Site.
